Royal London Adult Speech and Language Voices Services for patients who have undergone a specialist ENT assessment.

Adults with dysfluency are directed to the Michael Pain Centre or City Lit in WC1 for specialist assessment and support.

If the adult has a mental health issue or learning disabilities, this would need further discussion in liaison with local MDT Teams.

  • Patients who have not received a specialist ENT Assessment in the last 6 months.

Send by: e referral — <p>GPs can make direct written referrals to this service for adults with dysfluency or acquired neurological disorders. These should be sent to:</p> <p>Head of Service<br /> Speech and Language Therapy department<br /> Level 2 Outpatient Therapies <br /> The Royal London Hospital<br /> Whitechapel <br /> London, E1 1BB</p> <p><strong>Please note:</strong> any patient with a suspected laryngeal pathology must be examined by an ENT specialist before referral to speech and language therapy.</p> <h4> </h4> <h4> </h4>
